You sure get good access to these badboy farmers and their big equipment. Nice video.

I thought it was my charm, good looks, personality, smile, outgoing nature ... but .. that's just 1% ... all these farmers and crews are the nicest people you could meet. Many have "adopted " me like an old lost dog ... I'm very fortunate to have met these crews and received so much help and cooperation. Lucky indeed!

I didn't hear you say the size of that monster grain bin under construction.
@farmerdroneАй бұрын
It's 120 ft wide and 120 ft. high .... 47,500 tons!

the bin is now complete and I am about ready to produce the video of its construction

Why not drive the truck to the combine? Save double handling
@snowfighter62Ай бұрын
@@norbertkurz3489 I think he means why the truck does not drive besides the combine, as some farmers do when they harvest potatoes or when making corn silage. I've read somewhere, that trucks in the crop field can cause fires.
@norbertkurz3489Ай бұрын
@@bruceread4507 you don't want to drive a truck with high pressure street tires in the fields...compare the size of tires of tractor and truck, then you can calculate what amount of compaction you will see in the fields after a truck...he doesn't pay for the expensive tracks on his wagon just for the looks...
@farmerdroneАй бұрын
You would need 4 tractors instead of 2 ... there were 2 combines. If the trucks followed the combines, you would need 2 more trucking the 12km back to the grain bins

500 Bu in 90 Sec. is 600 tons per hr. (60 Lbs. / Bu). That is VERY high. Did I get some numbers wrong?
@lfeco9 күн бұрын
No, your math is right. In my part of the US we figure bu per hour. 600 tons per hour is 20,000 bph. Many grain terminals have leg capacities of 20-50,000 bushels per hour.
