Eating Balut In the Philippines is pretty much a must experience for everyone...
This "Strange" Filipino Food is always fun to try, and it is always unique to see what Foreign Nationals think of it. In this case, my Canadian friend Taylor "Tala" actually ENJOYED IT!? Yup, nothing can scare this girl... she just ate a balut true Filipino style, outside of the bus station in Cagayan de Oro, Mindanao!

I finally tried balut and it was not bad, I liked the taste, just the second one had lot of feather on it so it was really hard to chew it :D But I learned again to don't judge anything before I actually try it :-) But I have to say that Taylor is definitely more brave than me :-)

I have yet to try Balot but I will the next time I go. In the meantime, here in Texas, I continue to eat Panzit, Mongo, and chicken and pork adobo. Sometimes we eat Mango Float.

The Canadian girl has passed the test. She is now ready of becoming a Filipino, why ? it is because she ate balut without hesitate. Tourists eating balut for the first time is like a challenge and fun like eating or not to eat. Many tourists dislikes to eat balut like they're really growse the appearance of a dead baby chicken and the feather inside they can't eat it..
