Shows that the Canuck’s spend more money on their MREs than their southern neighbors do with better taste, I mean it looks tastier and it looks like real food.

I was in the Canadian army for almost 20 years. When I started, we had IRP's (individual ration pack). Everything was canned and gross. The next gen of rations, the IMP, was a godsend. They were, back in the 80's & 90's, the envy of NATO. Perhaps they still are...lol. I remember chowing down with a few Royal Marines in their tent in Norway and naturally we tried each other's food. The brits were blown away. "'Cor... those are real cherries!" They loved the tea & coffee. The latest gen of IMP's have some new bits & bobs, new menus, but the main change is the packaging. They're that good that if I could afford it, I'd buy a case of them just because.

Hey Paul, nice review of that Canadian ration! I think, if you look at the fine print on the condiments and bread products. Those items are made in the States. Take care!

What the IMPs lack in variety of sides and such, they more than make up for in quality. Never had a bad one, always delicious. I just wish I could get more at a good price already in the states.
