Kevin, it was meant to be. My favorite knife is a Case red bone stockman XX USA. The reason it is my favorite knife is because my wife bought it for her father in 1969. After he passed away my wife gave the knife to me. It is in excellent condition and one I will pass on to my grandsons.

Who can pick a favorite knife? That would be like picking my favorite firearm, or a mother picking her favorite child. But I guess if I have to pick just one, it would have to be my CCC Old Red Bone Case Hunter 6265, only because it is my first, and currently, my only case.

Buck 110 I got from my brother that passed away at 16 in the 80s is my favorite because of the memories it brings. I don't use it for fear of losing it, but I love it.

My favorite knife is the BUCK 110. I bought my first one in 1968 for $18 and have used it over the years for most everything. Others have come and gone but the 110 is all business ALL the time and that's why I love it ‼️❤ THE GREATEST FOLDING KNIFE KNOWN TO MAN, SINCE 1964 AND STILL GOING STRONG 👍🏻

My favorite knife has to be my Buck 110 that I bought in 1975 and have carried off and on for the past 49 years It has been with me hiking, hunting, fishing and working throughout that time. It is well made and obviously stands up to constant and hard work. As long as you treat it well it won't let you down.

Here we go! Knife Dr. inspires so many people. As an Accountant I have to open up so many bank statements my favorite knife is a old, old, old Rich Herder (Solingen) Barlow I picked up at the Dallas, TX gun show for $20 bucks. I like it because it is the perfect letter opener ! LOL! Bone handles and SNAP is incredible. Love my find.

My favorite knife would be the Case xx 2220 Peanut.Why? Because my dad carried one since the 1950’s. He cleaned his fingernails with it almost everyday.My dad’s gone now but my memory of him will be precious till the day that I die.

My favorite knife is a Case Stockman that, according to the tang stamp, was made between 1920-1940. It's my favorite because it was my grandfather's and I've had it since I was 6 or 7 years old. I'm 70 now!

Just discovered your channel about 5 months ago. You have revived my interest in knives I have a small collection and I’ve purchased some tools to cleanup and fix the ones I have. Watching this video made me comment for the first time. The knives you received from Canada reaffirmed my hope for all of us. The older gentleman pouring out his heart to you about his condition and his wanting an original Barlow because he can’t get out like he used to touched my heart. You being a real gentleman reciprocated by cleaning one up and now getting ready to send it back is amazing. My favorite knife is one I purchased recently it is a Buck 284 lockblade edc, USA made. First of all, Kevin, thank you for sending that knife to that gentleman that’s very kind of you. Second of all my favorite knife is a Swiss knife that I own that the main blade is shopping about half as much as it used to be and it was my father‘s knife and it was in his pocket when he passed away and that’s my favorite knife, but you inspired me to do the pawn shop and go out searching for knives and the one time I found some good stuff so far but I’m still going out and hunting. Haven’t found that great yet but I’m waiting for the weather to get warm to go to the flea market, I’m up in New Hampshire and it’s 30° out now and it was snowing earlier but thank you Mr. Kevin thank you for your service. Hey Knife Doc enjoy all your videos my favorite knife wow that's hard. I like them all but I guess if I could only have one over all it would have to be a Camillus Pocket Knife WWII USA Army 4 Blade camp knife because there not much you cant get done with knives of that pattern just enough tools not to bulky feels good in the hand and in the pocket and to top that off it was the first knife my father gave to me. he bought it at a yard sale and I thought I had it all wish I still had that knife but I broke the blade doing something it wasn't made for thinking it wasn't repairable I tossed it 50 years ago now. Anyway you sure learn from your mistakes well thank you for all the damaged knives you save. the story and message from our Canadian friend is priceless. it so easy to do the right thing we all need to do it as often as we can.

My favorite knife is actually 2 different knives. A German switchblade my grandfather recovered in Ww2 and a vintage case pocket knife my great grandfather gave my father and he gave me before he passed away. Both knives are put up and I’ll never use them but they are special to me! Love the show!!

My favorite knife is a 2 blade Jack knife made by Case. The reason it's my favorite is because my Grandmother carried it every day when I was a kid in the 70's. I love Lots of knives, but that one is a sentimental favorite.

My favorite knife is a canoe shaped pocket knife, Old Timer, no one ever shows the Canoe style knife? I love the shape of the canoe knives, for I used to go canoeing like a young fool when I was in my 30's!

Sir, I think it's amazing how you bring new life to some of these old knives to be enjoyed as someone's companion once again. Since I was a young man I've always carried multiple types of blades from box cutters to multi tools. I would never be able to count how many times they were needed by me or someone else. All of them at the time were my favorite. My current favorite is a Victronox because of it's multiple uses. It's amazing how you are being used by fate to bring someone a needed companion.

Hey Doc, another good video. Sending the Barlow to the gentleman in Nova Scotia was very kind of you. You are a good man. My favorite knife is my first one, a Spyderco Endura gifted to me by my wife 25 years ago for Christmas. I've carried it with me every day since except when traveling by plane somewhere. I actually went to a NU Yankees game and realized i hadn't left it in my car so rather than have it confiscated i went out a park across the street and buried it next to a tree there and returned it when leaving the game. My favorite knife is a medium stockman. A medium knife is not to big and not too small. I like the stockman because it is a 3 blade knife and when it’s closed I love its form and design. My grandpa carried an Old Timer when I was young, then after seeing me use the screwdriver in my pocket as a teen he started carrying a Victorinox himself. I think it is very cool of you to fix up and send that Barlow to Lloyd, good stuff man. My favorite knife is an old case xx fixed blade that my grandfather gave to me when I was 11 or 12. Its a great knife, it is sharp as a razor. Great skinning knife. Its my favorite because of who gave it to me. Newer version of my knife is the case mini finn. A Schrade Waldon Trapper from about 1958-1960 was my first real knife when I was 12 years old I bought it used from a man I worked with on my first job at a grocery store where I sacked groceries, it has yellow handles and because it was my first good quality knife I have always considered it my favorite, the trapper style knife as a result has always been my favorite style of knife. The second is probably a Stockman as a yellow handled Schrade Waldon was my second real knife. I purchased several Imperials from the local Ben Franklin store before that but none made me as happy and proud as that Trapper, I paid $5.00 used for that knife. That trapper is still with me and has been now since 1960 I am 75 years old now and soon will be 76 in about 2 1/2 months. That Schrade is only one of several trappers I own today, I enjoy your show Kevin and wish you many years of rescuing old knives, thanks so much for your service.

Very cool how the Barlow knife worked out. My favorite knife is my 1977 Western 534. I picked it up on EBay and it had been abused. Most of the damage was repairable and it looks very nice for a vintage. Nickel bolsters and Pakkawood scales. Built like a tank.

Love your channel, I have carried a pocket knife for more than 50 years. Usually a Swiss Army "tinker", but lately(after watching your videos), I have been carrying an old imperial from the 1930's. I picked it up at a flea market for $2 and cleaned it up . Thanks for the inspiration.

Kevin, you are awesome. God is good and it’s so awesome that you will be able to gift the Barlow. My favorite knife for everyday carry has to be my Victorinox Pioneer X Alox. This knife has all the functionalities for everyday tasks. I use the scissors quite a bit along with the bottle opener for a few beverages.

Hello Kevin, such great knives. That was very nice sending the Barlow to him. You are very kind. It's hard to say what is my favorite knife but if I had to choose it would be my very first knife that I ever got. It's an Imperial Kamp King made between 56-88 and it's my favorite because my grandma gave it to me when I was 7 years old. She taught me how to use a knife and that remains a memory I will always have of her. While it's a cheaper knife I still have it and it's sharp when in use. Have a great week.

First off I must say that I had chills when you started reading that letter! God sure does work in mysterious ways in my personal opinion! This is by far, the best channel on KZbin! I don’t think I have ever found a channel where I have watched nearly every single video! My favorite knife is an old yellow handle German Eye. This knife was passed down from my grandfather to my father and then down to myself when I was a young boy. Hard to beat good carbon blades! My favorite knife is the case stockman cause my grandma gave me her knife she cared for years and I cherish it .I think every person that loves and carys a knife has had a case stockman
