Jim, great to hear your stories, do tell more they are very interesting and we all have our moments of glory and we should share and take a moment to pat ourselves on the back. PVC insulating tape is not good for cable insulation as it is permiable by water, also the adeisive breaks down. One cablle I came across in a flour mill had aproblem with unstable plastisiser. It literaly driped from the cable. Over the years the cable became stiffer and stiffer. Srry for poor spelling my windows XP andKZbin are not playing nice and I cannot se what I am typeing..
