They are an MTV comedy group in Brazil called Hermes and Renato, because they are very heavy metal fans they started a comedy band with metal, and they said that to mix comedy and metal the music didn't have to be bad, we Brazilians always talk the same phrase "They play better than a lot of serious bands", Massacration has very good songs !!!

Don't worry about undestanding everything about the lyrics, much of it is made with puns and wordplay with portuguese (they often add -ation and other english sufixes to portuguese words, for example, because people actually do that here when they can't speak english properly or as a joke). Outside of that, the metal references, the visual comedy, that's universal.

Eu até pensei em fazer as legendas pra ele, mas tem muito regionalismo e ia ficar vazio e sem sentido, traduzir “Eu quero ver o Oco” pra “I want to see the hollow” é muito difícil e sem sentido , até porque nem em português eu entendi o sentido que eles quiseram passar. P.S.: eu que fiz as legendas deste vídeo.

Em verdade digo á tds que, pelo que sei, como telespctador da MTV a época de lançamento do MASSACRATION, isso na vrdd fazia parte de um projeto, um bloco humoristico que havia na emissora, dai como o MASSACRATION, também tinha o Hermes e Renato e, outros projetos ...No entanto, o MASSACRATION cresceu , ficou adulto e se agigantou, se tornando a maior de todas as Bandas de Metal(minha opinião). E esse video conta a estorio de um jovem que não conhece a verdadeira musica e cultura(Metal), daí, essa tirada na letra: "...ai, ai ai ai, em cima em baixo estica e vai..."; meio que do folclore popular brasileiro. Então ele(jovem) é julgado, pra ver se existe possibilidade dele ser um Metaleiro Raiz, e daí segue a doideira original e sensacional...Vc observa que eles, artistas, tocam e cantam com personalidade e consciência!. Em dado momento a banda/grupo, perdeu um integrante para a depressão(FAUSTO FANTI), daí ocasionou um hiato, mas, aos poucos eles estão voltando as atividades normais.
