Absolutely love that you show your successes along with oops moments! Keeps it real, as well as shows that if you don't get it right just rethink the problem and learn another way. I am trying to convince myself to build on of these. Nice job. Question....how is the board and batten siding working now that a couple of months have gone by? I thought you nailed the board in the center and let the batten hold the edges flat so the bard could shrink and swell. Nailing near the edges might cause the board to split.
