I’m Canadian though I’m not a Quebecker. Lockdowns in Canada occurred on a provincial level (for American readers, the equivalent of the state level in Canada), so the lockdowns that took place in Quebec were the responsibility of the Quebec government - not a policy put in place by Trudeau. So, on some of the things this caller discusses are confused. He is correct that Trudeau put harsh gun laws in place that many Canadians (including me) disagree with, but I would never vote for Trump over such policy differences.

I live in Quebec and I can tell you , yes there are Trump supporters but the tone of the exchange between political opponents is light years away from what it is in the US. Liberty of speech is not taken to the limits of defamation over here.
