So glad I found this video! I’m a dual US/Canadian citizen that’s worked as a PA-C for several years in Washington state. Ever since graduating, I’ve thought about how amazing it would be to take my work to Nova Scotia. Now that they’re starting to hire PA’s there, I’ve registered for the PACCC PA exam. Only thing is, I haven’t been able to find any testimonials from American PA’s who’ve taken the PACCC exam. I’ve seen the exam blueprint and independently suggested study materials are all the same ones I used in PA school, but I’d really like to hear someone’s subjective opinion on what the PACCC exam was like compared to the PANCE. If you know, I’d absolutely love to hear about it before I take the exam in October!

is there a current demand in Canada and the USA for PA's?
@CanadianPA5 жыл бұрын
Hi Bruno! There's a high demand in the US. In Canada the profession is still growing as it was only introduced ~10-15 years ago in Canada.

Hi Edwueme, Unfortunately I can only really speak to Canadian PA programs. But there are plenty of youtubers if you search who can talk about PA admissions in the US!

Do your programs have lower standards to get in? Having low GPA and GRE scores?
@CanadianPA5 жыл бұрын
Hi Braxton, Canadian PA programs do not require GRE to get in. And minimum requirements for GPA is 2.7 out of 4.0 for UofT, 3.0 out of 4.0 for McMaster and ~3.0-3.5 out of 4.5. --> read canadianpa.ca/admissions to learn more!
