I've found the most purest wholesome drink in the world that has all vitamins and minerals as well as loaded with electrolytes!! Tree Water!! With much digging research I've tapped 7 of my trees that gives me an avg of 5 gallons every 4 to 5 days. Im trying the tapped trees year round,so far it's been 6 months straight. Once you taste tree water you won't want to drink anything else! My family and I do regulary tree water fasting for health 💪. There's many varieties of trees that can be tapped,,,if the leaves fall off the tree in the fall time it's tappable. I've turned friends, family, neighbors onto this they all love it! People need to know this,,,you don't have to turn swamp water into drinkable if you learn how to tap a tree.

I’m a licensed plumber. I live in rural VT and have my own drilled well. I installed an in-line hand pump (pitcher pump) to the water inlet in my basement. Free, clean water any time of year with no power. A cheapo item that is good also is cheap solar path lights. Even the $5 ones from Wallyworld. You can solar charge during the day, pull off the stake, and put on the table for light at night. Most of them use AA solar batteries. You can buy extra batts, put them out during the day, pull the Batts at night. Do that for 2 or 3 days and you have fully charged AA Batts for other uses. Now you have recharge AA Batts without grid power.

@@rabbitslippers Buy new rechargeable better quality batteries that you can change over to when the dollar tree ones crap out. Most batteries that come in these solar powered lights are of very low quality. I have multiple solar "garden lights", that after the one year and they "died" I've switched to the better quality batteries and nearly all of them are in perfect working order again and last more than one season. I've also bought the larger solar lights that you can mount on a wall, that has a longer cord to where you can hang the solar panel to get best sun coverage on it. Those two, I have mounted inside of the house with the solar charger outside. Just make sure to shut the motion sensor off or you'll go bonkers... LOL

You probably just got so used to being sick that you don't even know you're sick right now as we speak. Never drink straight river water, I don't care how fast it's flowing, where it's coming from, or what's upstream. You never know when something is going to die or shit just out of view upstream and give you a horrible disease. Also if you're near civilization (like within 300 miles) some of that water very well might be coming from a rusty pipe somewhere.

Nothing wrong with unfiltered wild water as long as it's clear and from a moving source. Even rainwater doesn't need to be filtered, as the rain cycle itself is a purification process! City water, on the other hand, or water from a stagnant source i would definitely want to filter and purify, but even when we relied on water from a dam, we never filtered and only boiled it during certain times despite constant warnings about 'beaver fever' and never had an issue ;)

For at home daily use until power becomes a problem, a tabletop distiller is the best option, especially if you have lead acid batteries to maintain or use a CPAP or oxygen concentrator. If you are concerned that drinking demineralized water is unhealthy, remineralize it with a bit of table salt, baking soda, or your other favorite mineral mix. In many cases, removing the excess of minerals in water will likely be a health benefit.

A small point about drinking cold, or rather very chilled, water. It is better not to drink strongly chilled water for several reasons. The most important thing, however, is the body's reaction to such cold water. This then has to heat the water consumed as quickly as possible to bring it to 36°C (96.8°F), which corresponds to the body temperature of a healthy person. Warm water (drinks) are also much easier on the digestive tract than cold water. On the other hand, peoples in desert regions also use the opposite effect and drink hot drinks such as tea, as the body then automatically begins to lower the temperature inside the body again in order to return to normal levels. The other way around, very cold liquids have the opposite effect in summer. The body uses even more energy to increase the temperature, which is of course counterproductive. So in short, it would theoretically be best to consume liquids that approximately correspond to your body temperature. greetings from germany and sorry for my bad English. i hope anybody can understand what i want to say.

For pre filtering water! A rugged coffee filter ( Those paper ones) I hear that in North America is called, making coffee the Dutch way! Me thinking, when i put active carbon/ charcoal in it it would not prefiltering any more! More a 2 trap filter! Cheap active coal i get in a big home pond / tropical fish tank shop! Maybe a DIY filter, for when running low on filter cartridges, our being ' comprimized'!

Love the title because the two best prepping items you can ever have are your hands and the knowledge of how to use them and how to use your mind unconventionally when the time comes. The only prepping one needs to do is learn now to create on the spot with their own two hands. Do a segment on this topic about going out in the wilderness with nothing and simply build a bushcraft.

Nice system. I always look at my pool for a SHTF scenario. Not to drink obviously. But the filter system to prefilter water. I never tried it but I think my pool would be good for personal hygiene also. It is pool season in Texas, I just watched my pool water turn from chunky green to clear blue with very little chlorine. I have an above the ground. The filter is one of those sand filters ( I use these things the size of golf balls that can be washed in your washing machine instead of sand ). I use very little chlorine, it is mostly washing the balls in the filter that does the work. A pool can be a great prepping tool in my opinion.

Christ the black man in the bible did not died for all our sins he died for our past sins that we repent for when we repent be baptized in water & keep his commandments & try to stay out of willful sins every day , Christ did not died for our present sins that is the reason why we have to repent every day from our sins known & unknown sins because we are still living in a world of sin where Satan resides, wake up & study the word of God & get out of religion because they don’t fallow Christ they fallow Satan who is their God .😢😢
