I watch out to reactors to realize the time that is ticking at the end of the video. The speaker - therefore Neil Halloran - points out, that now is the time for discissions to make which would ensure peace. The zoomed in time is Novembre, 8th 2016 around 09:07 am - that was the day when the US could have made such a discission. On that specific day USA elected Trump - not that wise to prevent wars I would think, but I am only a german guy.

8:11 Now look who exactly fought against the Nazis. It seems to be considered the war was won by the USSR, the USA, the UK, and the territory of Germany was divided equally, but it was the USSR that fought and won. According to statistics, more than half of the Soviets are civilians, at the end of the war it is clear that the USSR had already begun to lose very little. What's more interesting, if the Soviet took revenge on the inhabitants of Germany, then he was either sent to prison or immediately shot on the spot. And what do they see in Russians today? Angry Russians and fascists.

I mean you can hardly feel bad for Russia with all they've done, and not just recently

@@mejdzrenterprises Oh yeah? You know, I'm a fierce realist. And I hate to believe the one-sided source of someone's actions, and I always look for the real reasons for this. Do you think my opinion has changed? No, Ukraine is not an innocent lamb who was unfairly attacked, there are reasons for this and they also did a lot of bad things to Russia. You see, the same applies to Poland, for example, which was attacked by Germany and the USSR. Germany before the war also suffered a lot because of the debts of the First World War, and the USSR before the war even lost small lands to Poland. So I watched both sides and Ukraine a lot. So how about Russian views? Did you know about this for example? 👇 kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmmyf6ytap6lp8k So don't be naive.

(google translation) it is a pity that historical events are presented in this way. Some people most likely think it is. I am from Russia and it hurts me to watch how, under the guise of a historical video, they throw shit on my country. And someone, without even reading a couple of pages of the textbook, talks about the carriages of people to the GULag from Poland! Stunning ignorance. Let me tell you a secret, just don't tell anyone: Poland was an ally of Germany and in 1938 took part in the partition of Czechoslovakia. And its eastern territories appeared in Poland not out of thin air. As a result of the defeat of Germany in November 1918, the independence of Poland was proclaimed, led by Pilsudski, who announced the restoration of the Commonwealth within the borders of 1772 and began to take steps to implement this plan, taking advantage of the weakening of Germany and Russia. The outbreak of the war went on with varying success, and, after the defeat of the Soviet troops of Marshal Tukhachevsky in August 1920 near Warsaw, the Poles went on the offensive in August and by October captured Minsk, Bialystok, Baranovichi, Lutsk, Rovno and Tarnopol, forcing the Soviet government to begin peace negotiations (RSFSR together with Ukraine and Poland on the other side). They began in Minsk on 17 August 1920 and continued in September in Riga against the backdrop of the Polish offensive in Volyn and Belarus. As a result of negotiations, an armistice agreement was signed on October 12, and hostilities at the front ceased. You don't know about this war, do you? Well, of course you don’t know, they don’t write that in books about the Gulag. How can you write such a thing? It turns out that Russia returned its lands with interest and the image of the villain Stalin is no longer so terrible. You can add the fact that there was no ban on evacuation and in 1941 women, disabled people and even people convicted of minor crimes were released from the Gulag. In the Red Army, looting and rape were equated with war crimes. Among the Russians there were freaks that raped women. But only German women could complain about it, after which the bastard was found and punished according to the law of wartime. What do you think, could a Russian woman complain about the German who raped her? There are many medical certificates confirming that many German women have been raped. However, at that time abortion was prohibited in Germany and one of the legal ways to do this was to provide a certificate of rape. No confirmation of the event itself was required. The number of deaths in Germany is heavily added in favor of the Soviets to reduce the responsibility of the Allies who were stupidly bombing the cities. You say, not all Germans are Nazis? They can be called anyone, they deliberately went to kill people, to destroy peoples that did not suit them. Do you think these "non-Nazis" did not know where and why they were going? With China, the author of the video also did not restrain his imagination. And lastly, if you take political statistics, then suddenly it turns out that the communists fought with the Nazis, about whom no one can say a good word, but for the Germans there is, they are not all Nazis.

The world owes the Soviet Union many thanks. Unfortunately our histories were edited and it is only now we are finding out just how great your sacrifice was.
