Great video. The saw mill looks great as well. I have lost an Ash tree to the emerald ash bore about 8 years ago. We had to cut it down but kept the stump and it started growing some limbs made a very nice ash bush.

Nice mill .If you bought a plumbing fitting the size of the chute that the sawdust comes out and have it point ing to the ground it might help with the sawdust blowing at you .you could also have the sawdust going into a 5liter pail once you instal the fitting. good video

I love those leveling jacks. I need to get something like that on my mill. Right now I level the axle then drop all the posts, but boy would those be quicker. Quick question on Blade hook angle. I was milling 38in wide red oak new timber wolf blade with same HP motor and it seemed like i had to crawl through the cut and it wanted to chatter or really grab the wood as I inched along. Would a different tooth angle help it not want to chatter? I know that’s a wide hard log for a 23HP motor.

It must have been a surreal experience using a fully manual portable bandsaw mill after using your two sawmills. The logosol website says the max cant width for the B1001 is 85cm or 36.5". It appears Logosol didn't do the converison to inches properly.

Hi Paul. I'm looking for some help or advice. I have a similar sized mill, and have just been using it for personal use for about a year and a half. I now feel very comfortable with it and looking for advice on how you wood price out a job like this. Per log, board foot, hourly? Any advice or recommendations would be great. Thanks. Love the channel, and your enthusiasm. Seems like you have a really solid team. Love the milling on Saturday videos. I'm from Manitoba and know you roots from here.

Ah , the joys of portable sawing...... Dust in your eyes and lungs. Been there done that and gave it up. Stationary Electric is the only way to go.

Was the tree dead and if so does it need to be kiln dried before it is used, i want you to come do that when are trees are cut down , 7 ash and 1 black cherry all dead. I also want to use the wood and not see it burned.
