Canal Trip Along the Grand Union and Oxford Canals During the Early 1980's.

Back in the early 1980's, our family of four gathered in Rugby, England to enjoy a forthnight "on the cut"... a leisurely, self guided tour of the Grand Union and Oxford Canals located in the midlands. Joining us were my wife's cousins from Sweden. Altogether, the seven of us navigated through a beautiful spring countryside in a hired narrowboat that was approximately 57 feet long and 6 1/2 feet wide, consisting of ten beds, two bathrooms and a kitchen. It was a memorable experience and one we would love to replicate all over again.
