So far it has been great! No issues. During install I did add some small washers on the bolt bc the bold heads was very small. I would definitely do that I could see them pulling through the plastic without having washers in place

Doors have been great. Front passenger sagged a few times and had to readjust and crank down in the fasteners. Outside of that the wife is annoyed with doors when doing yard work. But they can easily be removed to remedy that

Can you actually put a regular CD player in the roof

This particular console is really designed to cut out and house the marine units similar to the one I used here. For a regular unit you would have to cut the insert pretty wide and would not look clean. There are several budget friendly units to choose from start with a smaller one with small hole upgrade later and cutout larger mounting hole
