I noticed and gathered some parallels between The Blood God and Homeless Teletubby. They're sharing too much general moments and it's all because they're rivals!

That is it’s definition yes, but that’s not how the word is used or intended to be used by the community at large, the majority of stans are just teenager’s who like a CC or community perhaps more than the average person, they may change their pfp to said creator,buy their merch etc but this is the extent of most of their action’s, it doesn’t harm anyone and as they grow up they eventually outgrow said behavior , now of course toxic stans that breach a creator’s boundaries do exist, and Dream doesn’t deny this, but his argument essentially affirms that an entire community shouldn’t be ostracized for the actions of a comparatively much fewer subset of people, in fact when an actual stalker does emerge or when someone does something against a CC’s wishes such as sexualizing people who haven’t explicitly said they are fine with it or minors, I find that the first people to call out and admonish such behavior tend to be the community’s stans. On the subject of the meaning of words, the meaning of different words in the past do not necessarily indicate their meaning in the present, if we were to go by your logic, being a ‘fan’ would have negative connotations since it was derived from the word ‘fanatic’ a word which tends to be used in a negative light, but obviously fans of a creator are not fanatics.
