Yo! What a great video. Just watched this and the Adidas story while at work. Keep at it, man. Your videos rock. I have the Trae 2 and my brother has the 3s, and they are our least worn shoes. They look cool, imo, but Adidas really dropped the ball with those two. I hope he gets a better shoe with Jordan - let alone a shoe.

There were TY2s at every Ross on all sizes and colorways for $29.99. The design was horrible; impossible to get on due to the ankle support being extra tight. You would have to size up just to get the shoe on but then there would be a lot of space on the toe box allowing the foot to slide all over the place. It was a pass every time; even at $29.99.

I go to Ross and Burlington a lot, you’re absolutely right and you can tell several people have tried it on at the store and given up, and/or returned them. Removing the laces helps but it’s still pretty uncomfortable and the boost feels fake

Yeah they really dropped the ball with the 2’s… nobody seemed to like the fit even if they liked the other features. If they aren’t even selling for $30 that’s real bad

Adidas didn’t cancel D Rose line, D Rose had a lifetime contact where they had to release a signature shoe every year while he was in the league. 2024-2025 is the first season adidas doesn’t have to release a D Rose sneaker

Dope video! I actually thought the 3s were an absolute upgrade looks wise from the 2s, looks wise at least. The cushion doesn’t feel bad but I also feel the vagueness of the tech specs cushion wise didn’t help either. I also think the colorways were pretty dope with the digitized look. Definitely polarizing like the 2s. Luckily for me they ended up at Ross and copped a pair for $45 haha.

Definitely worth it for that price haha but a red flag that they ended up dropping that low… I think the 3’s are pretty fire looks wise depending on the colorway too but they just missed the mark on making them special and making the performance solid enough

@ Ohh for sure I don’t have much issues with traction but think they missed a little on that aspect and not to mention they barely marketed it. I think a fair amount of Adidas ends up at Ross with their Basketball line, but so does Nike, and more recently Under Armour (specifically the Curry Brand.)
