Apologies for the... VERY different type of video. I've been meaning to make this video for SUCH a long time, and now that life has gotten into a great place again, I finally felt able to. I hated being unable to justify a lot of the past dramas I'd been in the past, and it always killed me having so many people upset with me whilst dealing with the IRL situations mentioned in the video. I hope this helps you guys understand where I've been at mentally and why certain events happened in the past. I really want you guys to know I've grown as a person, and I'm in a much better place mentally. Brother, I have to take the time to tell you..... ive mained Akali and Brand over the years (been playing since season 1 IGN: Kentucky) and it was YOUR videos (climbing ranked with Akali and match up videos) that helped me develop fundamentals and skills to maintain Plat/Emerald to this day. Eternally grateful for your for fun, for free content. Its insane what you do for the community and how much shade you get thrown at you. The LS drama takes the cake. He went in on the gambling crap being a hypocrite blah blah blah.....this still rubs me the wrong way and I think HE shouldve been canceled to high hell. On the flip side I get a strong sense of how genuine and self aware you are through your videos (especially this one) and because of this you stand head and shoulders over your peers. Anyway..... The thing is, whatever you do in life you're always gonna have people hate on you, that's just a fact. I have been a moderator for Professor Akali for a few years now (Discord and Twitch) and he truly is the most chill, creative, kind and inspiring people I've met. The way he just speaks to anyone no matter who you are, content creator or not, puts you so at ease. In the past I was in a bit of a pickle situation where I basically had no money or food, and I know I never told you the reason Professor but, you basically saved me right there because I had nowhere else to go, it's something I'll never forget. We all make mistakes and do things we regret, and I know that people usually remember the bad things you did way more than the good things, but I genuinely can say that Professor is one of the best content creators, scrap that, human beings I've been in contact with. I haven't been very active at the moment due to work and just not having that much interest in League anymore lately but you'll always be someone I admire and look up to so never stop being yourself. I'm sorry for what you went through man. I know how it feels. My dad died of stage 4 liver cancer in 2019 and it never feels better. literally 5 years later and it still just doesn't feel real. I know exactly what you were going through. I'm sorry you had to deal with that internet drama bullshit while going through that. I hope you're doing better now and I wish the best in the future man. You helped me honestly. You made me become an akali one trick. you showed me how amazing she is and how much fun she is. No other assassin in the game feels as fun other than leblanc. I get what you mean, I lost both my grandmum and my dad in a space of 3 months (dad right after Christmas),. right as I was doing my 2nd degree at University. The stress and the 0 focus due the deaths and then the constant stress my roommates caused made me quit my last year of University. At the time I needed to just get away from the drama, recover and be in a stable state of mind, but things like these happen and the only thing we can do is learn from it and make the most of life. I am glad you are back to making content, but more glad you are in a right state of mind, doing what you love and what you believe is right! You were the one, with other streamer like zwag, that was all around in my youtube back in 2021/2022. Even if i did watch less content overall on youtube with studies and the student life, i will always support you in what you will do. I have seen the Downfall video, never really liked your titles and the videos to be completely honest, but this video made me respect you a lot. Having the courage to at least address everything (albeit with a retrospective look) is a big plus for you and I really like that. I also liked the fact, that you went ahead and calmly explained every drama and even said "I shouldn't have done this/said that" knowing you did a bad thing. I respect that a lot. This is a very well-made video that I am glad I've watched, as it shows to me that even though in my opinion the titles and the videos are a bit clickbaity, at the end of the day, at least you are a normal person that wants to improve and you genuinely care for your content. I've always liked the stuff you do, not just as a content creator but all the stories of people who are grateful for things you've done IRL. I've been keeping up for YEARS. Which is why when accusations started being flung in your direction I'd always take a step back and hear what you also had to say. I saw how you disproved everything, but I still kept a little skepticism due to the sheer amount of hate and drama that was being corroborated by so many against you. I stopped keeping up and unfollowed your twitch, for fear of being a fan of a "bad person". But in the back of my head I still held out that I DID enjoy your content, and that you WEREN'T a bad person. Watching this video made me feel confident in that. I wasn't wrong. Hey Prof, what a great video honestly. It's insane how some people over the years seem to only live for hating you and the stuff that you do. If only that, they also go around spreading lies and misinformation about you feeling like it's a fine thing to do. That's gotta be my biggest issue with these people. Like if they find a legit reason to dislike you, then sure, everyone's entitled to their own opinion and I'll respect them for it, but most of the time it's just some bs that couldn't be further from the truth. When someone for example mentions you on r/akalimains, it's always the perfect showcase of how people are completely unable to form their own educated opinion on someone. Even though you have done A LOT for Akali players like spending hundreds of hours to provide the best possible guides for the champion we all love. Personally, I owe you. Big time. Yow prof, even with all the drama and shit that happened to you, you still are one of the OG content creators that made me enjoy playing league when I was younger. I'm sorry for your loss, my condolences. I literally have the same thing happening to me as of now. My grandfather died last month due to lung cancer, and at the present my father deteriorated from chronic kidney disease to end-stage kidney disease. Life really sucks, am I right? But life aside, your content made my younger years pretty fun as a league fan. At one point I started to main Akali, trying out all your crazy combos that you do in your videos (which most failed miserably ahaha). Right now I main Gangplank (sorry prof, I realized I liked pirate barrel gameplays as time passed), but your Akali videos actually made me learn Akali and climb to grandmaster during highschool. Continue being a badass content creator. Akali never dies (except when faced with hard cc). You got this man!

I don’t even play league anymore and haven’t played in a very long time. This randomly popped up and I remember I use to main akali before the rework. Use to watch your videos and it really helped me a lot. Sure lot of the builds you would post wouldn’t work for me but I knew that because I would never be able to use it to the best of its ability anyway. However it was interesting to try out. Thanks for the content over the years. I have personally quit LoL several times because I care too much about the outcome of my games. I hardly play anymore, but I counted on you and many others to still get enjoyment from one of the games I love but cannot realistically play.
