Hi Im Irish and am probably biased but the most beautiful place I have ever been is Allihies on the Beara Peninsula, Co Cork. There is also an amazing spiritual energy to this place and has a standing stone circle going back thousands of years. There is a Buddhist Centre there Dhogen Beara situated between Castletownbere and Allihies its accessed by a Bodhrin, Irish for small road or track! This comes with a warning notice lol. Anyhow I have travelled quite a bit and this place for me is a little piece of heaven. Going there in September for a few days and I bet it will be the best trip of the year.
