Infertility is a well-known side effect of many cancer therapies and one that many cancer survivors cite as a source of significant distress once their cancer therapy is completed. How do you know if you or your loved one with a new cancer diagnosis is at risk for infertility? What options exist for preserving fertility prior to start of cancer treatment? Are there options for both pediatric and adult patients? What if you already had cancer treatment, but would still like to have kids in the future? Do you still have options?
Learn the answers to these questions and more during this Simon Says session with Amanda Saraf, D.O., medical director of the Fertility Preservation Program. Jodi Skiles, M.D., medical director of both the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program and the Riley Hospital Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant & Immunotherapy Program, moderates the session.
