This video was so true! I’ve always been pushed to be a mediator for my family and I’m rejected whenever I stand my ground. Unfortunately I’ve had to cut myself off from them because they were asking too much of me. They expected me to heal their wounds, ALWAYS care about their problems and listen to them vent for hours upon hours without giving feedback . Ive been told that I “lack empathy “ and I’m a “bully” when I showered indifference or stand my ground. They were constantly manipulating me so that I felt guilty for “neglecting” their needs and would rush to take care of them. As I’ve grown, I’ve realized that it’s not healthy for me to obsess over healing other people. It is not my responsibility to fix and heal anyone other than myself .

Holy crack, this one resonated w me so well, I felt both attacked and uplifted. Till the very end.all I could remember was people around me telling me “how’d you know I was gonna say that…?” And I’m just like “…I just know?” But even more than that, I can see the correlation between now and who I was when I was vibing low. These pst two years I was put through the wringer in order to do my shadow work, and hearing you say all this both breaks and heals my heart. Because I did cry, I cried so hard for how much I’d actually hurt myself not being true to my own feelings and trying to protect everyone around me. I finally snapped. Something wasn’t sitting right in my heart and I got tired of feeling this horrible hatred towards people. Now I’m more detached and slow to react, yet I still am as emotional as ever. I just don’t hide it anymore and prefer to deal w things head on. Lilith in my 7th house really kicked my ass too. Lol I learned a lot through my relationship w others. Anyways sorry for the rant. I loved this.

Do any other Cancer rising males get objectified by women? Like girls will literally drive by me and be like “You’re hot!!” Anytime I go on Omegle, the girls first reaction is always, “Ooo”, “Omg hold up” just some sort of comment like that. If it’s not their first comment, their 2nd or 3rd comment is like “you’re cute”. “Treat him/her like a celebrity and they’ll treat you like a fan.” The only girls I’ve ever been attracted to are the ones that understand me; not just like me for my first appearance.
