I am the sole female in the field in a very predominantly male industry. Last Monday I was hit by an SUV while at work. I'm going back tomorrow. Yeah, I'm walking in with a brave face. I am new with this company. Yes, I am suing the driver, but that can take many many months for a payout. I can't take more time off as I have bills to pay! Workman's comp only pays 66% of wages. No. So, my game face is on so I can keep my job and pay my bills.
