Stayed here for a week. Just came home Christmas Eve. The resort is great...very well maintained. The food is very good. We only did the buffet, though, because it was just so convenient. The beach is incredible, no rocks, just sand. Very nice. Enjoyed the water park as well. The only thing I wasn't satisfied with was the entertainment. Excellent otherwise, including the service. The people there work very hard. Tip them accordingly. They'll take good care of you.

Helpful tip: if you're a big guy, don't pull the bar and thrust yourself down the red slide. I went airborne. I bruised my arm pretty good, but didn't let it slow me down.

I would not suggest a swim out room. The ones we saw were underneath the theater and I heard people say they couldn't sleep till after 11 pm because of the noise and vibration from the theater.

Im coming here next month and im excited! Are the A La Cartes reservation only or first come first serve? Also how long is the bus ride from Cancun Airport?

No, but there are palm trees which give some shade.
