You look great in Candace, Michele! 🤩 I have two Candace in 10/613gr and OMG, you are not kidding when you mentioned she's a face flopper. Mine was 10x worse than yours and while I streamed her, I still had to add synthetic hairspray to force those fibers the way I want them. I must admit though, she's still holding up like a champ. I still have my newer one in a box and I'm surprised how great her fibers are holding up. Even after washing her many times, she still looks great. Thank you for your review! Many blessings and have a great weekend! 💗💐

Thanks so much!😀 I have seen Candace in 10/613GR - she's gorgeous in that color!😍 Yes, I'm amazed by how well these fibers are holding up too. That's the beauty of synthetic fibers (vs. HD)! These Henry Margu fibers really are so delicate and durable at the same time. Thank you. You too!💖

@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much!😊 I think Candace might work for a 23" circumference. Henry Margu caps generally run average. I have a 22" circumference and this cap fits me very comfortably. The adjusters on my Candace could still be loosened. Hope this helps!💖

Great video i like this wig style and the video was a great help as im thinking of trying wigs intead of toppers as the clips on them pull on the sides a bit. Im just worried about to much hair but this one looked ok and looked great on you. Do you think its good for low density x
@micheleswigreviews

Thanks Caroline!😊 Yes, I think Candace is a wonderful, very low density wig. I also prefer lower density styles and have never felt that Candace had too much "hair" (of course these are synthetic fibers, not hair). Hope you love her when you get her!💖

Hi Mischele! I've been watching your utube videos and was finally convinced to try CANDICE Henry Margu. My first time to buy but unfortunately it is big for me. May I ask, since it says Candace's size is average, is that why there is an adjustment at the back to maybe SEW it to make it smaller? Your advice will be truly appreciated. Thank you in advance Ms.Mischele.
@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews Жыл бұрын
Hi! I'm sorry to hear that Candace is too big for you. The first thing I would try is to tighten the Velcro adjusters in the back. Then, if necessary and if you are certain that you are keeping the wig, you could sew wefts together to make the cap smaller. Here's a link to a video I like showing how you can do that - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXixlYympcqLrrc. If you are keeping the wig, you can also trim the extended nape straight across, so that it looks like a standard nape and/or trim the ear tabs. Of course, you will lose the fibers that are attached to these portions of the cap. Also, keep in mind that there are metal stays in these areas that will need to be removed so that they don't poke you. Here's a link to a video I like that shows how you can remove ear tabs - kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIepdZabjpt9gcU. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!💖

Michele… I have no experience steaming in order to control the face flop. Question… if you wear the Candace every day, how often do you have to steam it?
@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews Жыл бұрын
Hi Maureen, I normally only steam it once, when I first start wearing the wig. The style will last until heat is applied again, even if your wig gets wet. Of course, if you need to, you can steam it again. Hope this helps!💖

Another great review! This wig looks very shiny...what do you do to get rid of the shine? I tried dry shampoo on an Esprit clearance wig in Bernstein Rooted by Ellen Wille and it came out very chalky looking and no longer feels silky-soft. Any suggestions?
@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews 10 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! I don't normally do anything about the shine because I like a bit of shine and it tends to wear off over time and after washing. However, if the shine on your synthetic wig continues to bother you, then I recommend using a little bit of dry shampoo powder to tone down the shine. Due to the recall of some aerosolized dry shampoos, I recommend using a powder instead of a spray. Here's a link to a video where I show how I like to apply the non-aerosol dry shampoo powder - kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3Sbga2Ffd-UkMU. As an alternative, you could also try a cool water + baking soda bath. Dissolve a tablespoon of baking soda in cool water. Be sure to avoid soaking any hand-tied portions of the cap so that you don't loosen knots and possibly cause shedding. Then rinse your wig thoroughly. Hope this helps!💖

I like a full straight bang covering my whole forehead. Would I be able to do that with this wig without creating a permanent part?
@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what you mean about creating a permanent part, but I think you should be able to cut a bang on Candace.👍💖

@@micheleswigreviews I mean if I cut the bangs straight across will the bang part where the part on the wig is?
@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews Жыл бұрын
@@cindywood2089 Unfortunately I can't answer with certainty because I have never cut a bang on Candace. I just looked at my Candace and separated some fibers as if I were to cut a bang and the fibers did part where the part on the wig is. This is probably due to the fact that I steamed my part in place and steamed the fibers away from the face (on a block head). They might not do that if you don't steam the fibers the way I did.💖

What does gr stand for in the color name? Thank you
@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews 2 жыл бұрын
Henry Margu's GR stands for Gradient Color. According to Henry Margu, their "Gradient colors add new meaning to the word realistic. Using a special coloring process, we dye each strand of fiber with a darker root color at the base - resulting in a naturally highlighted color with dark roots that appear to grow directly out of the scalp."💖

Hi Michelle. I saw a couple ladies w/ this wig on (brand new) & it looked like a lot of hair and quite dense. I really would like to purchase her, but I wanted low density like yours. Do you think if its too much I could soak it in cold water and get it thinner? Thanks so much.
@micheleswigreviews
@micheleswigreviews Жыл бұрын
Hi Julie!😀 Candace is definitely a very low density wig. I have now owned 3 of them (2 in 8/27/26GR and one in 626H). The 626H is slightly more dense than the others. I don't think that soaking it in cold water is an effective method for thinning. Also, I don't recommend soaking hand tied features as this can loosen the knots. If you feel that a wig is too dense, I recommend thinning it. Here is a link to a video where I show how I like to do that - kzbin.info/www/bejne/ol6qm6GMrpmEmtU. Hope this helps!💖
