I love ya all even more because of your discussion about armpit liners!!!! For years I've wondered how so many women look so "cool" while I'm staining my pits with my sweat! I used to teach high school and the sweaty armpit thing... WAS A THING! Why should it be a big deal? why is it embarrassing? We sweat. God made us that way, but still... ugh. So other women aren't always cool and breezy?... they are using armpit liners!!! epiphany! I love that you are so real! I love you're "older" women talk! Wisdom!

Candace, I’m not surprised at all to hear those young girls see you as a mentor… you and I are the same age, and I’ve looked up to you since we were kids. When I was younger, it was more about wanting to be nice AND cool, like DJ Tanner. As I’ve gotten older, I so admire your talent, strong stance in your faith, and your incredible ability to be yourself no matter how many people have eyes on you. Candace you were talking about Ann Voscamp and saying how she looks at you like you are the only person in the room. When you came to JBLM for the movie premiere you did the SAME thing for us! You told your security guard very directly that your fans were important and you were going to stop to talk to us. You took pictures with us, did an autograph and hugged my 7 yr old daughter she will NEVER forget you or that experience! Later my daughter got to ask you if you & Gabriel Hogan really kissed and it is a moment where she watched you proclaim your love for Jesus to everyone in that auditorium. Thank you for seeing us that day & being a disciple to my daughter.

I have to say it as Candace has said this more than once. It annoyed me when you said to Priscilla she is not your friend. Several videos, being sisters in Christ and you say oh because you haven't been in my life since childhood we're not friends? Girl, if I had the privilege to have a spiritual giant as Priscilla doing videos with me, I would claim her as my friend! (She could say no, but she would be my friend!!)
