Nice🎉 Is there some option to enter date like a string in input field? That option could be very usefull for QA. So user can type like "1999-10-24"?

what? not at all, you only click on the month name, and year will appear to select....

No, it doesn’t work for the default date picker shadcn

Uncontrolled state from the form will be overridden. And upon onSubmit the form will not detect the value from the datepicker. Work around is just use the [date, setDate] and pass it as a prop into the custom date-picker. Prove me otherwise.

another workaround is pass the form as the prop and replace the useState using the form setValue / getValue

if we are using server actions we can get data with formData.get otherwise yes we would have to use props
