I have liked this contestant for the win from the beginning; Candice has been consistently awesome from day one but she is totally expressing so much more self confidence than ever. Comments are right. Candice is truly at her best live. I love that voice though. She has such amazing range and emotion when she sings. The other girls in current top 5 are great and I think they're all amazing talents, but candice just has that something extra when she belts out a song. Love her

Her voice is too compressed. This recording was mis-produced. Candace's voice deserves the air that she pushes to keep the sizzle and passion alive. This is wrong. Just listen to her on the show. THAT'S what you have to learn to let shine while producing as well.

What? You do know what an upper register is, right? It's the upper range of your natural voice. *It has nothing to do with being a soprano*. Candace is a mezzo, so hers naturally lies around A4-A5, but falsetto and training can allow for higher notes if you're willing to push yourself, in the vein of a Beyonce.

*Her voice type naturally doesn't allow it, biologically*. She literally *can't*, so she's not "missing" anything. And you don't have to be a soprano to sing lead vocals. You want high sopranos - listen to high sopranos. But Candace isn't "missing" something she biologically has no control over.
