@@renegadeoffunk2588 Some disgusting things ? It litterally STOMPS, devastating against ground targets and not that easy of a target itself for fighters. When I first fought Frogs and couldn't get kills quickly I was like "am I this bad at dogfighting" and then I realized this plane can definitely turn and make you work for that aerial victory.

I think it’s because I have steam edition that I can’t see servers like this one, probably because steam updates a little later. But when the windows do pop up, I try to take them and participate. Love the work you and your team has done to make this server what it is and such an icon to the dcs community, great work!

Change your steam DCS install to the open beta install

There are waaaayyy more players and servers on the Open Beta version. You'll be happy you switched if you want to do any multiplayer. Also there are quite a few training servers

I really need to try the Enigma server, but the only FF I have experience with is the Huey. Otherwise use the A-10CII or Viper as my primary three I use.

It's not a money thing it is a time thing. It's a real time commitment to keep the server going. To have another would add more to our plate. We are hobbyist not doing this full time. I have actually been telling the patrons to take donation levels down to manage expectations.

I'm a little gunshy about joining since I'm a total flake and have to go AFK a lot due to family. As long as I'm not participating as a part of a team effort, is it frowned upon to jump in and out?

No it is not frowned upon. The server is set up with this kind of in mind. You should be able to experience a full sortie in 30-45 minutes. All progress and stats persist between resets. I am also very busy and sometimes will only do one sortie then I'll get off. Just don't AFK on a road back or taxi way to clog the flow for others

Trying so hard to get my friends to try your server, they are very afraid of the older planes unfortunately. Once Datalink is gone they are helpless.... and they wonder why they are not good at BFM :/

Hey Enigma, I've got a question: Could you maybe do something similar to the DCS server in a game called War Thunder? I'm playing on a laptop that only runs DCS at 15 FPS. I think I wouldn't be the only person who wants something like that and I know that this must be a lot of work to get everything working the way you need it but it would be very appreciated. Since the Comms system in the game is trash I would set up a discord server for the server. I don't know if this is even possible to do this but if you'd at least try it would be greatly appreciated. If that is possible to do then please do that in Sim since I have been searching for a good Sim experience for a while now😅
