I always wished I could produce and participate in the candid camera show. So if there’s anyone from the that want my suggestions let me know. When we were young in the 50’s and 60’s we only had black and white tv. This was the one show that taught us to have and keep a sense of humor. I have hundreds of ideas.

Extra special thanks to Allen Funt, Peter Funt, the staff and management of Candid Camera, the people who just watched this and every video Candid Camera present, and EXTREMELY the people whose wonderful sense of humor allowed it to be on their shows. Thank you ladies and gentleman very much!

watching this makes me miss how people used to interact with each other. hugging, touching, playful shoving- it seems like these days you can’t do that. these days people are more interested in exerting what little power they have in telling others not to touch them, or find more joy by turning it into an issue rather than enjoying the interaction for what it is. it’s even beyond strangers now, because i’ve even seen people snap at their own friends! i’m glad my friends aren’t like that, because i would hate having to break my habit of playful shoving when i laugh.
@claztube3 жыл бұрын
RIGHT ON! I miss that ability to touch a shoulder or someone's back in fellowship and good cheer. You had to know the time and place but now there seems to be very few times and hardly no place that this thing known as real human inter-action exists. Less virtual touching for All! We're talking about a True, Real Life, LIKE.... and hugs... "I Like It!"

@@claztube . My favourite segment is, “Nothing but duck.” At the end the candid camera guy puts his arm around the embarrassed wife as her husband laughs about it. The good old days eh?
@crooked-halo3 жыл бұрын
@@rickyd.989 I'll chime in since my name is Ricky also, y'all don't EVER "break that habit of playful shoving when you laugh," NEVER cease putting your arm around people, "touching a shoulder or someone's back in fellowship and good cheer." We may perceived as strange, touchy, overly-intimate, but this is something people need, and want, human interaction. Thank you for bringing this up. It's vital to happiness, and humanity.

What the producers could have done to enhance the comical effect of the prank was show the customers a video of some "positive results" of Doggie Dating. They could have shown a video of a Doggie Dating "marriage ceremony." This ceremony would have a male dog and a female dog both dressed up in traditional marriage garb fitted for canines. Both of them would have a "minister" standing between them with other dogs standing on each side. When the minister asks the solemn "Do you..." questions to the "groom" and the "bride," each dog would say "yes" (a bark) respectively. After the two were "married" they would both go running down the aisle and then the other dogs in the audience would all either bark or howl. They would all then "live happily ever after." :)
