Agreed. Some of the old Candid Camera segments are so revealing they are used in places like university psychology classes. Peter is more droll than his father, but marvelously so. Thinks on his feet very well. And is always able to come with nonsense jargon that seems to work when needed. He also put a live stage show together featuring the show and traveled around the country some years back. Don't know if they are still doing that.

Another Candid Camera bit done under Peter Funt was where they had a store with a sign "We Don't Give Change". People assumed the store wouldn't do things like give you four quarters for a dollar for the parking meter and such. But when you bought something, you got our paper money part of the change, but no coins. Because "We Don't Give Change". Peter Funt said they found the coin change was too much of a bother and not enough money to worry about. People were very confused. Some were angry. But one was a little like this guy. It didn't bother him at all. Peter Funt asked him something like, "Doesn't this bother you at all?" And the guy said, "No. I don't let people rent space in my head."

@planetguam84753 жыл бұрын
To ensure what was replaced was actually replaced, and /or broken. A lot of auto shops have been caught charging customers for fixing or replacing parts that were never replaced or broken to begin with. You come in to change your oil, then they tell you your alternators about to go, but if you get it fixed now, you’ll get 25% discount. You come back 2 hrs later, they tell you it’s been replaced and charged you for it, but never did touched it.
