@@Kti432 Exactly! In fact, Candide doesn't ski "in the front seat" that often. He often has a more centered stance and approach but I think that comes from his absolute mastery of the sport. You could try experimenting with a more centered balance too, but you will always be held back if you don't figure out the front seat thing as well. Expert skiers constantly adjust their balance and COG fore and aft -- both freeskiers and racers.

The long grass seems questionable to me too. The jump over the tractor feel weird too : look at his knees during landing. I don't feel it's what I expect after a 5+m jump (based on the hight at the summit, tractor + giono for scale). Particulary when landing on grass.

So don't come on here and claim you have "first-hand knowledge" of something you know nothing about. It's a commercial, people. Commercials are made to make the impossible appear real. For those of you a little short on common sense, lemme help you out with a little experiment. It's obvious in the crop field scene, with the jump and the backflip, the slope is at most around 10 degrees. Meaning the ground level is dropping more than 6ft for every dozen ski lengths. Download a free inclinometer app onto your phone, then throw your skis in the car and find yourself a 10 degree slope of leaves, meadowland, rock scree, mature wheat, blacktop....whatever. Hell, make it a 15 degree slope for good measure. Now put your skis on. Try to make 'em slide. Yeah. Some people need to have everything proven to them. Even the laws of physics. Others simply think things through. In other news...What an awesome commercial concept Audi!
