One of my funniest memories was when our then 6 yr old son asked about our first date. When we told him what we did, he got very mad and would not talk to me or my husband for TWO days. We didn't know what was wrong. Turned out, he was angry that we didn't wait until he was born so he could go on our 1st date with us. 🤣🤣Try explaining to a 6 yr old, with a straight face, why waiting for our first date until his birth would not have been possible, especially since he was our 4th child. 😂😂

@@betsybabf748 Hahahaha! This story made my day. Ah the innocence of kids lol. I actually remember being slightly annoyed for a moment that I wasn’t invited to my parents wedding 😂😂😂😂. They showed me wedding photos one day and I had such FOMO.

@@trinadoss7087 Yeah I mean I didn’t strongly dislike it. It was pleasant. Just wasn’t very exciting or enjoyable. Kinda made me just wish I was burning a similar, stronger fragrance, ya know? I’m super glad you liked it though! That’s a win.

I thought I would like this candle based on the scent notes but I didn’t like it at all when I smelled it in the store. So basically when I walked into the first date and saw that he didn’t look like his profile I bailed 😂

HAHAHA. The analogies are endless. I wasn’t upset by their appearance, and the dinner conversation was pleasant but kind of dull. No spark. Not much in common. We won’t be seeing each other again 😂😂 Such an odd candle tbh.

@@mansky4499 Yeah I’m afraid it wasn’t much of a hot take lol. Have you tried this one? Thoughts? It’s a tricky one because I didn’t really dislike it… it just seemed a little redundant. And while I’m happy it was such a clean burner, the strength/throw just wasn’t giving it to me. 🤷 Ah well.

I haven’t been in store in what seems like months. I think I did smell this one and didn’t like it much. Anxious for a sale so I can go back and smell all the smells again and perhaps indulge in a couple of new candles.✌️

@@JKC1138 Gosh you KNOW how much I love those Amber single wicks YAAAAS. You saying that reminded me of Midnight Amber Glow, which came out a few years ago. That one was better than this one as well.

@@AllAbootCandles Midnight Amber Glow was before my time unfortunately. Just looked up the notes: smooth amber, caramel latte and vanilla bourbon. Sounds divine! It's such a bummer about First Date because I was hoping we'd gotten a nice amber 3-wick.

I so rather have I misbehaving burn with a strong output verses very clean burn and no presence. BBW please listen to your candle loving community.
