I almost finished the hat I made with a crochet loom for my little.and told him I wanted to put a pom pom on it. He became obsessed with pom poms in his crafting kit. So I learnt how to make a pom pom with 🧶. Quickly put it on his hat. I gave him his hat with a pompom and suddenly became pissed didn't want it, and rejected it. I was straight up confused. I left and a minute later, he came to me and it was all ripped up. So I finished up what I was doing then went to find him to see why it was broken. Turns out his dad was giving him his 15 minutes of positive attention for being an epic jerk...reinforcing rejection of me to get a few kind moments. Normally I would let this get to me but instead I made a pom pom for myself and put it on the stick I use to play with the cats. 😊😂❤ The cats had a ball and my little bad mood changed. I made 4 pom poms in all and I learnt how to do the basic crochet link (no loom). It wasn't the best day, but some of it was good, and I did my best to not lose it completely. Despite Aunt 🌹🥀😂😂😂😂😂😢😢😢😢😂😂😂
