Where is Candleman? He hasn't had any videos since last year. Terrific videos and terrific ideas. Finally someone who is brilliant!

I've been looking at alcohol stoves and basic tin can stoves for emergencies recently and I have to say I'm amazed at your ingenuity. Fantastic job.

WOW! Brother that is crazy stuff... Something to look in to it for sure! Thank you for taking the time to do the video and explain the process is really interesting. I might try to do something like that probably using other parts that I can find to be able to at least be close to yours.... Thank you buddy!!!

You can even cook with glass lab measuring cups. Borosilicate glass is one of the strongest glasses out there, plus the cleanest. :) You can even cook with measuring pyrex glass cups.

Is the outside layer on the pot to help trap heat all around the pot? I have a bunch of diy alcohol stoves. I use for backping, But they require fuel. Being able to reuse the wax. Just bring extra wick. To cook pots of food would be amazing. Thank you for another tool to be self sufficient!!!
@cookingwithcandles2 жыл бұрын
yes it traps the heat, it does not make it heat much faster but it makes it easier to boil water as it keeps the heat in the pot. I have found the best thing to make wicks is tissue paper, Kleenex, toilet paper or paper towel. just roll it and put it in a wick holder.
