His law degree was real. It was only his undergraduate degree that was fake. As soon as he got a real undergraduate degree from Greendale, he was able to resume practicing law. (Which of course failed, but for other reasons.) I suppose it could be argued that with a fake undergraduate degree, he should never have been admitted to law school. But the bar association must not have seen it that way since they gave him the option to remedy it, rather than disbar him entirely. Is that how it works in the real world? Almost certainly not. But it's a sitcom, not the real world.

We know that In this timeline they become married and have a kid Chewbacca.. (which means man who hunts bounties ) this show was always about mocking how shows do relationships between the characters. They never intended to have any of the group end up together romantically.. so i think it’s kinda cool how they did it. This was their real moment that made them realize they loved each-other

Just realized when Annie brings up tht he’s being harder on Troy lately it’s cause Troy is the first person in the group he started to view as an actual friend. Like the way Troy looks up to Jeff scares Jeff because it gives him responsibilities he doesn’t know how to manage, it’s also cause Troy looks at him like a father more than everyone else which is something Jeff obviously has problems with. This was Jeff trying to push him away which is something we started seeing more of with everyone else from this point onwards. It was a start at them cracking his armor for him to truly open up.

@@OutoftheBiru well, but thats the thing about community. the relationships of the characters are important, in fact the whole show is basically about their relationships slowly evolving over time. But who has sex with whom and who is “an item” at each moment in time just isnt in the foreground. Its a sitcom cliche dodge. Like when Britta and Jeff were sleeping with each other. They had chemistry for a while, it happened, we later found out about it, it was addressed and thats it. It changed the chemistry between them but it wasnt the starting/end point of a story arc. As much as everyone enjoys fan service and closure (me too) im glad they handled relationships this way rather than doing what ever other sitcom does. Not that these other sitcoms are wrong or inferior for it, but there are already so many of them. Troy and Britta had chemistry for a long while. And i love that we get to see snapshots of their relationship later on. But there is no reason to make it the focus of an episode either. It happens in the background. I mean. In a sense that always the case - we get snapshots from their life in whichever way abed categorizes them into episodes.

But I have to say they overdid it a little bit with her being that annoying activist and her being the"worst". I think Pierce was handled much worse. In season 2 he is straight up evil. Problem Jeff has here is that his caustic humour causes offence rather than others rolling with it and firing back because they are too immature to let it roll off their back. You can see the sharp contrast with his friendship with someone like Duncan who immediately adapts to the banter and fires back. Duncan is secure enough in himself to take jokes and give back just as good, Troy hasn't yet reached that stage.
