This level has changed so much on my end. Now instead of having 25 moves, I only have 23. Instead of only needing 58 jelly, I now need 116, and the mystery candies have disappeared - I only have 2 fish dispensers. However, the licorice seems to be the biggest problem. The licorice repopulates every other turn regardless if you take it out or not and once the cake bomb is removed the entire area where it sits fills in with licorice. King is so awesome at changing the difficulty of a level, but I have yet to see them change the level of difficulty (for instance this board should have been changed from 'hard' to 'super' or 'nightmarishly' hard! I'm just about done with them and all their changes!

This level is so frustrating... I'm finding that I can clear the liquorice from around the cake bomb, but when I'm ready to set off a striped candy or striped/wrapped combo. the liquorice drops out to protect the cake bomb. The fish don't help much, either, as they concentrate on clearing the liquorice on the upper board and not the cake bomb.

Oh thank goodness we don’t have mystery candy now. I’m puzzled by the 2 holes on the top left and right. What’s supposed to go through there?

I’m on my phone, so it’s hard to analyze it completely. But is it possible that the central columns near the cake bombs in the lower portion have portals on your board like they do on mine? If so, be careful. That means licorice might pour in from that bottom cake bomb area through those portals on the top you see.

Do you have the tutorial for the recent update.? They changed it, instead of mystery candies it's solely fish now.

Not on my system...it looks exactly the same as it did in my last recording. Here's a picture: imgur.com/a/85AgGW3 There are three different reasons I know for your board looking different to mine: 1. King often changes the boards. I have some levels I've had to record half a dozen times. They change too many levels too often for me to keep up with all of them. But if the changes ever have you really stuck and my current talkthrough doesn't show a strategy that can get the job done, please let me know what your new requirements are and I can take a look. Although sometimes I cannot help because some differences are caused by... 2. King sometimes has different levels based on the device/browser you use or the location where you play. They have different development teams working on the different platforms. I play on a pc, usually through fb and sometimes through the win10 app. If you play on a mobile device, yours might look/behave differently. And... 3. Sometimes there is a glitch. I haven't played in a while. This is an irritatingly level because you can try to strike the cake over and over again only to have the strike blocked by the licorice. I think we might need a CB-striped combo. Also we need to drain away the licorice as much as possible I think. Otherwise few strikes get thru. (I have the version with fish dispensers.)

This level became so hard with fish instead of mystery candies. The fish hit at random place and messes up the special Im going to make or use. I just passed this level by using hand 🤚 because I got 2 color bombs so I wanted to use both together. And used one lollipop

In case you missed my response the other place you asked: There can be if you are trying to earn something for an event...like being the person to get the most green candies or color bombs or something. And some folks like to get 3 stars or sugar stars and so will replay.

Unfortunately, it's not as easy to get storable boosters as it used to be, and they're not available across all platforms. Here's the info I give out to folks who ask how I've gotten so many... I've never purchased anything for this game. Most of my boosters are collected through normal play. And since I rarely use them for recording, they pile up. Sometimes, though, there are "glitches" in the game we can exploit. And we used to be able to exploit level 2000 to get party poppers and UFOs, but they fixed the glitch. :/ My recommendation is to investigate what booster opportunities are currently available to you. Feel free to discuss them with me and ask for my opinion on which ones are best to pursue, imo. Wish I had mystery candie dispensers. All I have are fish and darn licorice that keeps getting in the way. Ugh! Not liking this level so far. Very frustrating and hard for sure.

Sorry. You're going to have a lot of levels where I show this feature. I literally recorded thousands of levels while they had this available to us. I'd never have done it had I known they'd remove it. The good news is it doesn't change the actual strategy of playing the level.
