Played North Sea Jazz Festival at 12 and didn't start out on an alto at 6 years old but on a soprano. Soprano is much harder to play well. Some people say "start with something easy" but if you start with something hard, you may be frustrated often at the start but later discover that you can play anything, and much better.

@@rialopib Thanks, namens Victor.

.. cries .. Invented by Harold Rhodes during WWII, co-marketed by Rhodes and Fender and then CBS-Fender during the 60s and 70s. Hence most surviving specimens are branded "Fender-Rhodes". Brand now owned by Roland (who have released some rather poor keyboards under the name). But yes, an awesome instrument. Keybeds are usually a bit hard when compared to a good modern piano or synth, but the sound, the sound ....

lol people make arguments for no reason. It's more common for a guy to play the saxophone?yes, usually its alway a guy who plays... however, is there a rule out there that says girls aren't supposed to play the sax? and they have to look a certain way in order to play? and if they do play the sax it means they are gay? wtf! how old are you guys really? im 18 and i think im more mature than most you saying this shit.

What the f..k you think she is? Seems you've a clue who she is. Candy had concerts all over the world, her dad Hans Dulfer is 1 of the best jazz saxophonist in the world so she's as well but more smooth jazz. She had played many times on the North Sea Jazz festival in The Hague and had concerts with Sheila E., Maceo Parker, Van Morrison, Dave Stewart,Prince, Madonna and Mavis Staples She can play everything. Who the hell is little boy SaxHero, a nobody:-)

@claudemiropacheco10 жыл бұрын
She is a good player, indeed, but after you listen to some more serious guys like Kenny Garrett, smooth jazz players start sounding much all the same, with their vicious minor pentatonic fast runs. Please, don't take me wrong. She has a beautiful sound, and deserves all the success, but the problem with her and many other smooth players is the lack of surprise. It's almost as I can guess the next notes. They don't push harder on the harmony, or neither risk themselves. I'm not saying they don't know how to do it. Maybe they just don't want to risky loosing a wider audience.

candy is not 'a' jazz player. her music is Funk. It is rowdy and energetic, like on steroids. Her most recent albums have been funky. you can't guess the next notes on her song What To Do. She's a blast when she plays live.

im not saying chicks can't play sax i know a lot of bad ass chicks that play its just that i think that if your gonna play a sax you don't wear make up and facy dresses and make your hair and those cute little shoes!! and shes really not that good of a player. theres not a lot of musical shit shes doing and like i said her altissimo is a JOKE
