Hello😊I have a Siemens wash&dry 1200 washing machine but it suddenly stopped working. The circuit breaker in the apt dopped, the washing machine stopped, I was able to retrieve the clothes but now I cannot start a new wash. When I turn the knob to select a program just the orange light comes up but not the details of the programs😢what should I do?

Hi Nora. Did you try reset the pcb. ?

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 I cannot reach the plug. :( the dryer is on top of it so I would need help to move that too. I turned off the power in the apt, but that does not do anything. The control panel lits up (orange color) when I turn the knob bit the programs don’t show up as usual.

@@washingmachinetipsandhelp4350 I have seen that video, did not work for me :( my washing machine is Siemens Wash & Dry 1200 it is quite old, but worked well, the main circuit breaker stopped in my apt while it was running. I turned the electricity back on, the washing machine sort of finished the job. I took the load out and put it in the dryer. I wanted to start another load but then it stopped working. The control panel lights lit up but the programmes won’t come up. I will make a short video for you, so you can see.

@@NoraTKD it could be that the brushes are worn down (on the motor) if they are worn down so far that brass is showing then that could be arcing off the armature of the motor causing it to trip the RCD.
