Do you remember the joys of pulling off the highway to grab candy, pecan treats, and souvenirs at this beloved chain?
Learn a little about the history of Stuckey's and why it became such a cherished part of the American road trip experience and where it is now.

We would stop at Stuckey's on our trips from Colorado to Ohio to visit my grandfather, in the 1970s. Loved the Mint Julep candy.

Great history of Stuckeys! I’ve seen them many times on the highways across America and they’ve always had such a distinctive look- I couldn’t help but think that there was an interesting story behind it… so, thanks for telling it!

I've never been to a Buc'es. Unfortunately, I don't live near one and I haven't been on a good ol' fashion road trip for close to a decade. I've watched a few KZbinrs vlog them and they look huge. One of these days I'll get to one!

I do remember on family road trips stopping at Stuckey's a couple of times. Where I live now there is a former Stucky's building along I-80, it has been converted into a Lions Den Adult store.

Dang, that's depressing. The Lions Den is definitely a different sort of roadside stop!

I remember going to Stuckey's as a kid. My mother loved the pecan rolls. I thought they were pretty gross and didn't like them at all.
