I bought my candy tumble dryer in April 2019 and I have never had a problem with it until now. I think the delay timer switch is faulty so I phoned D & G insurance up where I have all my appliances covered and they are sending out an engineer next month. Domestic and General insurance are the best you can get, if you have a problem with a unit they will sort it out ASAP.

I have one of these, can you fit it in a space like shown. I see my intake vents are on the side. Also, mine sounds like a chinook helicopter! Is this normal?

Has anyone figured out dry at a low temperature on the CSE V9DF? The manual does not show how, and the 'Table of programmes' does not mention temperature either. I presume the Wool programme is low temperature? (i.e., no more than 40C)

It says in the instructions a 12mm gap at least has to be between the air outlet at the left hand side but here theyv got no gap? Is it okay to have the machine against a worktop with no or little gap?

Has anyone found the incessant clunking noise it makes stops eventually?Mine is so loud I cannot run it cos even my neighbours to the side and above are complaining. If it is on in the kitchen I cannot hear the TV in the living room. Candy said the noise stops after 5-8 cycles but it hasn't. It also leaks from the front even tho I empty the water container.

Mine seems to be leaking from the front door. Only a month old. No help from Curry's who sold me it. They keep telling me to go to Candy but they say sn engineer visit may cost me £120. Any suggestions why it might be leaking from the front??

Shame the UK not still in the EU as EU regulations protected the consumer and products could be returned up to a year after purchase and a refund requested if faulty.

You have a 12-month warranty. Currys (part of the Dixons group) have always been useless since the '80s, so I no longer go there, but ask to speak to a manager. Legally, they need to deal with this. Well, your post is now over a year old, so I hope you got it sorted.

It literally doesn't dry anything. It could be on for hours and the clothes are still damp. We spin after washing and sometimes I've done a double spin so the clothes are practically already dry before they go in and there's still no difference after a few hours. Its a waste of time and money. With rising energy prices ill be getting rid. If it was half as good as they said it is in the video then I'd probably reconsider, but it's actually a pile of crap so off it goes.

Anyone know how to stop the damn dewrinkle cycle that runs evy 15 min for 4 hours or whatever even after load is finished? sometimes I forget at night if dryer is finished, to turn off switch at wall and then im down there having to do it in middle of night becausese damn thing wont stop that dewrinkle cycle. nothing in the manual, nothing obvious on buttons, have had this problem since I got it. waste of energy and very annoying if trying to sleep and its doing it. my model is a bit different than the one above in that has a see through door, think its a more recent model, bought in early 2020. Also for people reading for reviews, the clothes is never dry even after 2 hours even though dryer thinks it is, and always have to put on for another 30 min. The water tank is in the dumbest and most inconvenient place possible, not sure who designed these, the ones with tank in the front upper corners, or on the inside of the door are so much more convenient than this one where you have to open that door at the bottom every time and pull the thing out from ground level...ive just left that bottom door off now altogether as having to hassle with it every time to empty tank is a pain. Hate this dryer for so many reasons and the smart technology they brag about is ridiculous and unnecessary, id rather have a properly working dryer without this stupid dewrinkle cycle that cant be turned off start button also started becoming iffy after only a year and sometimes wont work for love nor money

You can't actually set a particular temperature, the best you can do is put the wash on one of the low-temperature settings like Woolens which is never more than 40 degrees on any machine. So much for "progress".... give me one of the old-fashioned machines any day when you had total control.

Totally agree. New Candy tumble dryer delivered two days ago and I still can't figure out how it works. It seems to have been designed by a team of 21 year-old techies who have over-engineered the product to include every bell and whistle they could think of. Absolutely ridiculous. Close to picking up the phone to return it.

This is the worst machine ever. All of the KZbin videos do absolutely nothing to help you. They either don't close in on the unit or the knobs. They talk too fast or it doesn't get into specifics. I'm trying to drye my clothes now and I've washed them three times! We're leaving tomorrow and I can't imagine carrying wet clothes with me!

I have had this dryer for over a year and it’s useless. If I knew now it would be this bad I would never have purchased it. Never dries on the first try unless I have put it on the airer the night before so end up putting it in twice. I have a small kitchen so it in the outhouse on the side, unfortunately if the weather is too cold my dryer will not work and will come up with an error code to do with temperature. Very noisy and inefficient, DO NOT GET THIS DRYER.

Hi. I had this issue too, my resolution was a replacement heater. Thankfully my machine is still under warranty, it was a 5 minute job and works now! Get in contact with their customer service asap

Way too complicated for its own good. NFC is proximity only and your phone has to be touching the dryer to work. No simple way to set temperature and timer manually.

@fimbles1015 thank you very much lol - 😆 I will definitely try mix & dry & Start, so infuriated yesterday I was using "cotton" as it was all sheets/pillow cases. I button everything up so nothing gets swallowed indide the duvets etc abd came in with basket 2 to dry and the 1st load was half wet still 🙃..I will clean the largest filter again just incase that has has swallowed enough fluff to make a pair of socks.
