I setup a speaker of the mastered recording, Sean masterfully plays to the recording & then I overlay the original album audio overtop. I've done a few legit live recordings for other artists, but for simplicity and speeds sake this is the best option! This allows us to record multiple takes with different angles and create a Multicam track in FCPX and tap keys 1,2,3,4 as needed to cut up into what we have here!

Can anyone please help me find a nice sounding guitar like this or Mike daws or similar kind of players? Are there any guitars that will sound this good in the 1000$ range? Or cheaper?

Your best bet for a cheaper option is likely a Yamaha. I really liked the the FSX 800. I had to bring my 2002 Taylor 414ce Grand Auditorium into to the shop a couple years ago so I picked one of those up for 350ish and was super impressed, only complaint was that the neck could be a bit wider. For really great sound, youll likely have to invest in various pedals/EQ to dial in what you want
