Love this. The density of the chords makes everything sound so thick and rich. And so un-guitar! Just when you think there's nothing left, a new unique and original voice is heard. Thanks, Ian.

I almost forgot about this absolute gem of a song, this is the kind of songwriting that makes me thankful to live in the time that I live in. Thank you, Ian, for creating this masterpiece! Probably the best loop I'll ever hear, and that fretless solo is truly monstrous.

That's just it, the whole universe iS working through him---this is what it sounds like when Spirit uses yoU as the instrument and you are ONE with the all that is...time does not exist. There is no 'set way' when you create from your heart & soul. The lush, harmonic landscapes, deep dancing rhythm, and mysterious drop off to the next path..leave you wanting more. It's an endorphine rush that makes my heart laugh with joy! Thank you for you Ian...Shine on brother!! ~}:

What a beautiful composition. He completely immerses me into his universe of creation. Forces me out of reality and inserts me into his world. Of all of the different forms of art out there, marvelous music like this has to be the most brilliant of all.

Dude seriously outstanding. you are actually so amazing. People like you make me want to explore the guitar further and further. People like you influence me, a 16yr old, to completely change people's thinking of how the guitar is supposed to be played. Please keep making more videos so than not only I but many more people can be inspired. Thank you

Had the pleasure of seeing Ian live, amazingly in an small-audience setting, last Saturday at the CAF in Rockville, MD. "Stunning" is completely inadequate. 2 hours of bliss, and when you see him live, you get to know him a little between the cuts, as he shares his experiences and answers questions quite straightforwardly. An AMAZING talent. If you have the chance, see him live.

Very cool but I'm a believer in the less-is-more form of percussive fingerstyle. This is a complete overload. I'd rather be able to actually distinguish what is happening in each part.
