BRAVO !!! In 1981, I was back in W. Berlin, E. Germany for the very last time. I was 16, and had just discovered Visage, and believe me - my life was changed forever. While I romanticize my past, at the same time... I'm glad it happened when it did, and that I could be a part of it in my own way, and this is what makes it even more precious, that it is gone forever, except in the hearts and minds of those who were there and experienced it, danced to it, made out to it, got wasted to it, even if they never left their bedrooms. Thank you so much for posting this excellent short film about Steve Strange. xoxo

STEVE STRANGE n'est, malheureusement pour lui, pas devenu "MILLIARDAIRE" à la sortie de FADE TO GREY. Il est simple interprète sur ce titre. D"ailleurs il ne sait pas jouer d'un seul instrument de musique. D'autre part, je trouve dommage qu'on ne parle pas 1sec de la drogue, qui a emporté Steve Strange 30 ans plus tard et beaucoup de ceux qu'on voit à l'Embassy. PS: BIBA a fermé en 75. Elle pouvait pas existé il y a 3 ans dans un docu de 1982 ;-)

Candyraton2, you are really really extraodinary, thank you very much. Emission française présentée par Alain Maneval et diffusée sur TF1 entre 1980 et 1982 tous les samedis. Alain Maneval présentait " Megahertz " surtout sur les mouvements Londonniens pop/rock, très représentatif dans la vidéo postée par Candyraton, ou qu'en dira t-on? Tout simplement que cela fait maintenant 32 ans que j'attendais de revoir cette vidéo puisque j'ai 49 ans aujourd'hui et que je l'ai vu alors que je n'avais que 17 ans ! hi thanks loads for putting up this historical video, never seen it before - this is the infamous fashion show from le palace in Paris no? do you know if there was any other footage of groups from that night that were on the same bill as Visage ? there was another show called 'embassy club' hosted by Steve Strange with guest bands any other archive footage would be great if poss

Thank you for sharing , some rare film of a few of the big contributors to the early 1980s period of British fashion and Club culture. Of which started around 1978 notably "Bowie Night" at Londons "Billy's". I'm sure there are quite a few other overseas journalist / documentary style pieces of film like this that we're filmed around the early 1980s but thereto are still to be discovered. Let's hope there are more films like this out there that can remind us of this very creative period in time.

Oui il a eu le professionnalisme de le faire, d'ailleurs qui l'aurait fait ? Ardisson ? Mourousi ? un excellent document pour 40 ans plus tard. Dommage tout de même ses commentaires sans intérêt sur le début et la fin du clip "The lady is the tramp", ça le torpille en partie. Mais il ne pouvait certes pas deviner que le clip (produit par Peter Townsend) ne serait jamais édité.... ! Dont c'est d'ailleurs le seul "visual footage" actuellement.
