I've had dogs, especially tall and muscular dogs, all my life. From Pitbulls, over American Bulldogs to Cane Corsos... and the CC is a completely different story. Great, loyal, intelligent and extremely dominant... The Corso will not forgive any weakness or overly "hands-on" leadership. So it's not a beginner breed at all. I've always had VERY good trained and socialized dogs, but i've never had as many "hard dominance fights" as with my CC. You always have to be on top of "your game" or they will use any bit of weakness against you and challenge your authority... more than any other dog i've owned. But if you can handle all of the above mentioned challenges, you're going to have the best dog you've ever had.

Amazing dog breed. Mos tshould not have it however. 1) You need time to keep the dog active 2) You need to understand the dog's need for brain stimulation 3) You MUST train it on how to use the mouth (bite and release) 4) It costs a lot to maintain this breed properly. You shouldn't feed it most normal dog foods. RAW or Semi-Raw (barely steamed) for best results. 5) Most breeders are doing too much with mastiffs today. Research well the breed and look at a lot of photos. Study the face, build, etc of the ORIGINAL 2 DOGS they discovered in italy and were used to bring the breed back to healthy numbers

We have usually had German Shepherds although had two Bull Mastiffs although the pup would not leave our GS alone we gave him to a relative who had given us her Mastiff when she fell pregnant. Everyone would give our Male Mastiff a very wide berth even though our daughter of four at the time had him on a loose lead. The biggest softy we have ever had. He loved to chew arms when playing although knew he didnt need to grab hard. Never aggressive and liked a cuddle. Ive liked the look of the Corso as we prefer a darker dog. Definitely our next dog. I prefer a larger dog for protection of my wife and girls, none of us would ever consider a handbag fog 😂

When they talk about the blowt It means if you feed them too much and don't wait forty five minutes before playing their stomach can slip into a knot And you have to take them to a vet.These are good dogs, though.My friend had one that was really friendly with strangers as long as he was around

We are considering a rescue. He was surrendered because he “wasn’t aggressive” and that’s sounds great to me. I miss my rottie/shepard boy so I’m hoping it works out.

I do like Cane Corso dogs & their look/build & would like to have 1 as apart of my home, life, family & pack 1 day! I currently have 3 dogs (each 1 is equally brave playful intelligent athletic loving strong & protective) a brindle AmStaff aka American Staffordshire Terrier, a red wheaten Rhodesian Ridgeback & a steel grey male Weimaraner named Remington Steele (4 those & any1 who gets the reference & 4 those who don't, here's a hint ~ i luv mysteries)! This video is done by someone that doesnt have one. Look, love your Cane Corso they will be sweet. Take your dog around other dogs when they are young and socialize them with kids and adults. They will guard your house better than our rott and our Doberman. Their bite power is twice the power of both these dogs.
