These boys are italian mastiff, from Apulia region, where l live atm. They are very ancient, romans used them for war, big-game hunting and even in the Colosseum!

Get an Amstaff, but you'll need to exercise him plenty to burn off the "crazieness" ;-)

John, i found your channel by googling Cane Coors training. i know this is from 4 years ago. 10 days ago i had multiple tumors removed from my brain. i have intention of raising 2 Cane corso together. starting June 2018, first i have to get the dogs. When I do, i hope this channel is still here and we can communicate. Advise is always helpful, i am betting experts are saying No! But i am hope to have 2 dogs of Hectors quality, that get along and focus on me and not each other. i had brother and sister German Shepherds before, this i why it is so important to me. Also have children 8,14,17 and the dogs will be service dog quality when through

How do you teach weave? We just got our 7 month cane corso back from an obedience trainer but your pup obeys so well. I would really appreciate any tips/advice you can offer to further our pups' training. Kudos to you and your beautiful pup!

exelent video! congrats for the dog! how old is he in the video? i live in the canary islands, i owe staffies but in a couple of days im getting a 60 day cane corso pupp! i want to start training him right away and if I get him to be as good as Hector it will be a success! At what age did you start training him?

I have a question about the clickers and the treats. Once you've trained a dog, do you always have to use them? Or is it just an exercise to repeat every now and then? My father always owned German Shepherds and Rottweilers, and he never used treats or clickers, just intimidation. I want a big dog myself, so I'm interested in what the training would entail.

+Behind The Rows Hi, and thanks for your question. I don't use clickers (although they seem to give great results). I've always looked for what motivates my dogs, with Hector it is any type of food or his ball. I use either of these to get him to "follow" what I want, for example, I might slowly move a biscuit in a circle while saying,"Turn" and the dog follows. That way he earns the biscuit/ball. When he is good with or without the motivator, I use the treat once in a while to keep him sharp. Hope that helps, John
