My biggest fear about the Duke game was injuries. Losing Jadais Richard in what looks like the rest of the season is a major blow ! Our secondary already lacked depth. This is a big deal. 🤷‍♂️ 🙌

I agree the defense is mid but Duke did a good job of getting the ball out quick. Three QB took a three step drop and released the ball, all we had to do was set the safeties back and we would have picked off more passes. Or they would have just ran slants.

I've been thinking about why we are so dominate in the second half. Sure, the coaches make adjustment at halftime. But also it speaks to our depth and conditioning. On the conditioning side, I'm not sure how much the U practices indoors this time of the season, but today the temperature in Coral Gables is 17 degrees warmer than Durham. The heat and especially the humidity in south Florida creates a tough athlete.

Man I cant lie the defense scares me. I feel like a team like SMU, if we meet them in the conference championship, may be able to hang enough points on Miami to beat them. It would be a personal game for them too, especially B Smith who’s been BALLING this year. There’s a lot of ex Miami players, including the head coach, on that roster.

Regardless, a good team will try to exploit. Take note we have an easy schedule to speak, but most of these teams have really brought it to the game. They’re scrappers. With this final stretch in the ACC, I think it’s time for them to really open up the playbook.

At the end of the day a win is a win so i will take it! But sometimes I really wonder what Dawson and Guildry are thinking. We have no balance on offense and sometimes it feels like they forcing the pass for Cam. Defense plays man all the time and are not good at it but he stays in it more. Gtech is gonna be a tough one for this Defense.
