Weak opinion, honestly. Canibus is a talented writer. His raps are those of a lyricist that shines through his pen game. However we all know by now he's not the best at constructing songs. He's a natural born spitter. That's where his value is. Spitting. Eminem can spit, battle, construct beats AND song compositions. Eminem on paper is more versitile and has more viable talents to dominate the industry. Canibus likely edges out Eminem purely based on lyricism..but it's not by a whole lot. Also if they take those same lyrics on paper and put them on wax. More than likely Eminem's gonna make it sound better. He's a more competitively viable and entertaining studio recording artist. BTW I'm a huge Canibus fan. But I'm not gonna bs just to hype him up. If you feeling him more than Em? Cool. But we all know Canibus is one of the best pens. No need to cap, compare him or diss someone else. That's a disrespect to how good he is. Eminem is also one if the best. Saying he's not is weird for any hip hop head to do. I choose to just appreciate him for what he offers. Bro was doing what EVERY rapper is doing in the digital age AND MORE. BEFORE they even picked up their mics. He layed the blueprint.
