CANIK METE MC9- Slide stuck!! How to fix?

I haven’t been able to rent it yet.. Is it a snappy bitch like the sig 365? I’ve shot that and it was terribly snappy. The only micro that I’ve ran extensively and liked was S&W shield. I haven’t shot the plus yet either. My mom and dad both have shields and I’ve put a few hundred rounds through them both.

It's a little bit less snappy than the 365. The Shield Plus is even better.

You can still get it to slide forward if you get a small item like a chopstick and push that bar down from behind the slide and then you can push it forward.

This issue and FTF's are popping up all over with these little Caniks. They may have taken "Honey, I shrunk the Walther P99" a bit too far with this platform...

This isn’t an “issue”. The disassembly instructions that come with the gun show how to reassemble it. This guy got it stuck by trying to reassemble it like a Glock. It’s not designed for that. It has its own unique and simple reassembly (which he demonstrated at the end of this video). So, there are no “issues” with reassembly of this gun so long as you follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

@tjhawg It's an issue if the slide release housing is incorrectly assembled as many have been reporting. Since you're obviously menstruating over this, care to tell the class why the FTF's are chronic with many of them?
