I got rid of my Mete, because the aftermarket isn't there and it didn't give me anything I didn't already have. Nice pistol though.

SIG XFIVE Legion for me every time. Shoots beautifully flat and adjustments were so minimal

Absolutely, mine has run FLAWLESSLY and continues to do so. I put the Apex trigger bar and over travel bushing in along with the M*Carbo adjustable trigger. I just wish I could get my Glock 34 Gen 5 trigger into the legion. That would be the sweetest gun ever. My Glock trigger is absurdly light. lol

It's not a bad gun at all,especially for the price. But I don't blame you for choosing the Glock or Sig over it.

Rival is an improvement over the SFX, but IMHO, it is not fair to compare it to your Legion. The X5 Legion series is a big brother to the Canik, again IMHO. I love both pistols, but the both have their own niche in shooting. The rival is a very close shooter to my PDP.... But the PDP still comes out on top for me.

I wasn’t trying to compare it too much as both my Glock and Sig were a lot more expensive and have some pretty dope custom work done to it. I just thought if it really performed amazingly, I’d replace them with the rival and shoot it In production. Needless to say, I’m switching back to my Glock 34 for a couple of matches. Next up on my list to purchase is a full sized PDP.

I assume they are going to be great, but the price tag of those really makes me thing of other things before the Canik. My G34 was under what they are asking and the x5 isn’t too far behind. Only time and experience will tell though. Excited to see it.

@@cerebralfirearms The Rival will shoot a lot better group off the bench. I've compared my G34-5 with Timney trigger against the Rival several timed with several different ammos, results always the same. Both guns have DPP red dots. Not to feel to bad Glock lovers, the Rival also smoked the Staccato P with DPP.

@@elmersmith203 so, I had a little bit of a different experience. With that said, the timney trigger is only the beginning of what I did to the internals of my Glock 34 and my X5 has a couple things done internally. The rival was a great pistol, but shooting the heavier bullets showed a huge difference between the three. Just my opinion, but glad you love yours. I think the steel one will be dope, but the price is definitely not as alluring as the polymer. Saw someone post 900-950. Wow.

@@elmersmith203 hell yeah man. That’s awesome. I’ll have to try it out. Gonna sell the rival and pick something else up. Maybe lol. I hate selling stuff but at this point, I’ve got a lot of unnecessary things that I don’t really use. I usually go by the always buy never sell mentality.

Honestly at this point, I may just grab the Rival-S to see if it’s worth the hype. I’ve tried a lot of other pistols and went back to the Glock 34.5 this weekend and shattered all of my previous records at steel challenge lol. Came in first. Need to see if I can push myself with something else.

Possibly, also a 300 dollar difference so that’s to be expected. Not opposed to trying one as I shoot both USPSA and steel challenge. I usually rock a x5 Legion or a Glock 34.5.
