I am very excited to be ordering my first Canik Tp9sfx this morning. Justin, you mentioned OCD, and I have similar issues, hence there are 3 of the 20-round magazines of that Canik coming along with it, not to mention a Mecanik red dot arriving in the same batch with a DeSantis SofTuck holster. I cannot seem to own a handgun without an accompanying DeSantis holster. Did someone say OCD? That's what I thought. Yes, Justin, without firing a single round through a Canik, I've become a believer in their products. Some of the credit goes to you good Sir. I do plan to compete with this Canik pistol, and do many other shooters on KZbin have proclaimed Canik's virtues. My thanks to them as well.

With the quality and bang for your money, I think the Canik secret is getting out. That metal version has almost no muzzle flip. The trigger is top-notch. I need one now. Great video again.

Canik has to be driving the traditional power brands absolutely crazy with their quality and price point. Guys at my favorite gun shop are getting annoyed at how many people come in looking for Canik pistols. I have a few Caniks and bang for buck love them. My HK VP9 Match is still my go to but with my scrounge friends, sons and relatives love the Caniks and don't bother me while I shoot my favorite pistols.

I thought my CZ P10F was an amazing shooter (and it is) until I bought a Rival Trophy. The Canik Rival is a flatter shooting pistol, the dot recovers quicker for me & does not leave the optic window like on my CZ. The Rival S is even better than the polymer Rival.

I did miss the orange spot shooting for an accuracy evaluation, as you are an excellent marksman and I enjoy to see how accurate you are with a particular firearm but either way, thank you for the time you give for us to have a good assessment of a particular firearm.

A really cool addition to the canik line would be an mc9 rival like the p365 with a comp and all the features but for canik prices, As mc9 mini rival with a few different colours schemes and offer some as a deal with the macanik optic and a matching comp or porting would be really sweet.

I have a Rival Trophy & the new Rival S chrome, the Rival Trophy is a heck of a shooter, the Rival S is even better.

I have two Canik Rivals. Polymer and Steel; a main difference between them is the blocking block. I tried interchanging the slides no go; steel slide will not go into battery on polymer frame. The blocking block on steel is ticker. For IDPA I’ve shot matches with both on different occasions and can’t seem to have preference. Only stand out is the weight of steel that sucks up recoil. Great guns for the money. Thanks for the reviewed.

love the video but one thing you said about the checkering on the front of the trigger guard. you said its for those who shoot it wrong??? why is that? i found the sub compact i shoot if i put my free index finger on that trigger guard with checkering i can keep the muzzle lift down and group my fast shots better. explain to me why im shooting wrong if i can shoot better that way??? why is it there then ?Just an opinion.keep up the good videos

It’s a great gun but quite honestly I’ve seen the optic ready shadow 2’s available recently for $1299. I Have both and for $350 more I’d absolutely take the CZ if I could only have one. I’m not selling the Canik but it’s just not quite on the same level as the S2. It has its own “personality” so it stays in the collection.

12:46 it shows a good picture of the Canik Rival sfx but I don't understand how the compensation is supposed to work when the gasses are being pushed down which means the muzzle would technically rise every shot? Unless the gasses are expelled forward at the end of the muzzle which means the downard angled holes do absolutely nothing? Heck idk...it just seems like the compensated holes should be on top to push the muzzle down. 🤦

These are just slide lightening cuts not a comp, the barrel is not ported, its mostly aesthetics and weight reduction
