That pattern is impressive. The next one will be better. I would have loved to try something like this in high school metal shop 😂😂

That looks rad well done. How did you get the profile of those teardrop shaped tiles? They seem kind of small to be carved out on a grinder.

I pinched some Damascus cut offs with my feather split die in the press. It creates the pointy pattern. If I just ground it, the pattern wouldn’t be consistent.

That turned out amazing! Shame about the crack. Making the can in the basic shape of the blade is a great idea.

@@TBWblades yeah, I’ll get it next go. But making it a rough shape of the blade to forge definitely saves time.
